The post is within Calderdale's Sports Service and based at the Shay Stadium Halifax.

The stadium hosts both Professional Football and Rugby matches and operates as per the Green Guide (Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds).


The role is to monitor CCTV to assist the Ground Safety Officer to Control Public Order capture images and save in line with GDPR regulations.


  • Had previous CCTV operation experience although not essential
  • Very good understanding of IT systems
  • Keep a cool head in emergencies and working under pressure
  • Good Communication skills
