Description
Deputy Heads of Healthcare are essential in supporting the Head of Healthcare in the management and leadership of complex prison sites including high quality clinical and operational healthcare within HMP Northumberland across a multi agency partnership.
The post holder is responsible for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services across the prison under delegated authority from the Head of Healthcare and may lead the development of a particularly complex delivery area.
The postholder will manage service level agreements, ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained.
They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the essential standards of quality and safety and be guided by general policies and interpret as required.
The Deputy head of Healthcare will assist the Head of Heathcare in the management and delivery of healthcare services, You will be required to have oversight of the clinical governance processes and be actively involved in developing and completing actions plans for continuous service improvement.
