Warehouse team members are needed to join our expanding company.

We are looking for a warehouse
operative _
and _
a warehouse
supervisor to join our team.

Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday
8.30am to 4.30 pm.
OVERTIME AVAILABLE
32 days holiday per year. Flexible, supportive working environment.


Warehouse operative role:


  • Unloading & loading HGV vehicles
  • Fabrication, sheering, cutting, welding of metal products
  • Check incoming materials and booking in stock
  • Willing to learn how to use various other machinery
  • Assist customers and suppliers.
  • Work closely with sales and office staff and customers.
Applicants must be willing to work outside.

Past experience in the metal, plastics or engineering sector will be beneficial

Warehouse supervisor role:

Previous experience is essential. You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products, and implementing operational efficiencies as required. You will lead and motivate the team, ensuring everyone is working to the best of their ability. You will work closely with the sales, accounts and logistics team.

  • Use metal fabrication machinery.
  • Achieve daily Production targets.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Work as part of a Team.
  • Have a or gain a valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Have stock Control Experience
  • Work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Ensure excellent customer service
  • Have a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Be capable and confident in dealing with competing demands, prioritising effectively
  • Manage and control risk.

Role duties:


  • Leading all warehouse and administrative employees
  • Ensuring all products are stored safely in the correct locations, assisting Warehouse Operatives with stock movement and logistics
  • Keep the warehouse organised/clean/tidy following the high standards
  • Organise/control the warehouse stock/inventory
  • Overseeing the receipt and delivery of goods
  • Planning delivery and despatch of products when required
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
  • Utilising all space effectively and reducing wastage
  • Taking responsibility for your own health & safety and that of others
  • Maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection and associated guidance where appropriate

Salary:
£18,500.00-£38,000.00 per year
