The Role
As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our influence, impact and services across England.

Identifying and developing consultancy and trading opportunities, you'll lead on the creation of tenders and funding bids to promote our business offer, enhance income and achieve income targets.

You'll grow our membership services by engaging with members, ensuring their needs are considered and that they inform the development of our services.

Additionally, you will line manage at least one member of staff and support the delivery of our wider services and the development of a service delivery/consultancy team.


About You
To be considered as a Development Manager, you will need:

  • Experience of designing and delivering consultancy services
  • Experience of winning contracts and funding bids
  • Experience of building effective delivery partnerships
  • A track record of successful business development, innovation, management, and delivery
  • An indepth understanding of community enterprise, community asset development, community contracting, localism and related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of modern business technologies
