At Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, we have expanded our Housing Options Team to deliver a highly effective homelessness prevention, options and advice service for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
We are now looking to appoint an exceptional team leader who has an in-depth knowledge of the homelessness legislation and has the skills, qualities and experience to develop new working practices and initiatives and lead, motivate and inspire our Housing Options Team.
To meet the requirements of this exciting role, you will lead by example and have previous experience of managing performance, improving housing services and contributing positively to inclusive and effective multi-agency working.
About you:
You will have excellent communication skills and be a skilled, effective negotiator and problem-solver.
You will also be a clear thinker, work well under pressure and thrive in an environment in which priorities are constantly changing.
