GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client located in Droitwich, for an experienced Senior Mechanical Fitter to join their well-known, highly successful and rapidly growing organisation.

Our client is a lead provider of HVAC Solutions within the engineering services sector across a wide scope of industries, all across the world.

This is a full time, permanent position: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:00am till 13:00pm

You will be responsible for responsible for pipe work assembly, Hydrostatic and/or pneumatic testing.

Senior Mechanical Fitter main duties:

Maintain good housekeeping standards adhering to 5S standards
Health and safety of oneself and others
Ensure all tools are accounted for in stores each day
Allocation of work to craft person and subcontractors
Colead Kaizen events
Assembly quality right first time
Use only material specified and allocated for each job
To discharge all responsibilities in a timely, accurate, conscientious and professional manner
Work in a flexible and cooperate manner according to the fluctuating demands of the business
Pipework ensure assembly complies with WI
Completion of multi section plantrooms
On time completion of work
Signing of job cards and test certs
Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing of jobs

Senior Mechanical Fitter desired skills and experience:

H & V Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or minimum of five years H & V site installation experience.
CSCS Card Holder.
Coach Craft Person/s and Assistants.
Ability to read and understand schematic and GA drawings.
Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team.
Excellent time keeping.
Good communication.
Hard working.
Highly motivated to improve customer experience and reduce costs.
Positive attitude to problem solving.
Motivate team members.

For all the above requirements the successful Senior Mechanical Fitter will receive a competitive salary of £37,544.00 per annum.
