Our client is looking for an experience metal spinning operative to join their department

THE ROLE:

To operate all spinners, multi shift as required, to maximise efficient operation of process.
To monitor, adjust and control the equipment using the computer feedback system.
To maintain tube production within set output and dimensional constraints.
To assist the maintenance team as required when the equipment is being serviced.
To comply with mandatory checks, e.g. Quality.
To be able to accurately measure tube using micrometres.
To ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety Regulations.
To be willing to learn, to an acceptable level, all other functions within the department to facilitate cover during rest breaks for personnel on other machinery as required.
Effective communicate/liaise, verbally or in writing as required.
To ensure that the Spinner and associated equipment is kept in good order with regard to house keeping.
To carry out other such responsibilities as may reasonably be required.

THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON:

Will have proven previous experience in Metal Spinning

Have experience in using measuring equipment

Have some quality inspection experience

Able to work 3 shifts ( rotating days and nights)

Ideally have Pendant crane licence ( or experience)

Salary:
£33,500.00-£34,000.00 per year
