Summary

£36,000 up to £48,500 per annum (pro rata hour contract.

This isn't heavy lifting. This is controlling the system that moves pallets by itself.

As Logistics Assistant Team Manager - Material Flow System (MFS), you'll ensure our automation installation is constantly running smoothly.

Based primarily in the warehouse, you'll run system checks, ensure the communication between our system and the conveyorsare working, coordinate with all departments regarding availability and down times.

And supported by your Team Manager, you'll motivate a team to do their very best work.

It's a role that bridges skill sets, requiring both an eye for detail when ensuring oursystem is accurate as well as coordinating different teams to work together toward the same goal.

It's full on and fast-paced. But for an aspiring Team Manager, the rewards are great.


What you'll do

  • Monitor the plant availability and material flows
  • Maintain and monitor the master data and parameters in the EWM system as well as carrying out root cause analysis
  • Coordinate and supporting the operational processes between the automation and the conventional areas as well as within your department
  • Coordinate with the onsite maintenance team for preventative maintenance as well as malfunctions of the conveyor system
  • Ensure goldstandard compliance, including adherence to legal requirements, internal guidelines, and Health & Safety regulation
  • Supported by your Team Manager, onboard, train and manage staff
  • Uphold a positive and collaborative working environment, where everyone feels safe, respected and valued
  • Build strong working relationships with your team: you'll address any concerns, encourage them to meet targets, and be the first port of call for any issues
  • Trial and optimise new concepts to improve processes

What you'll need

  • Experience of coordinating different teams external & internal and a resultsdriven work record
  • An eye for detail, while taking the right decision under pressure
  • Natural leadership to get the best out of everyone
  • Outstanding organisation and multitasking skills to prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • An adaptable communication style to get your message across to everyone
  • Heaps of eagerness to learn and a desire to succeed
  • Experience with SAP EWM is advantageous
  • Ideally an interest in mechanics or electrics
