We have an exciting opportunity for a kitchen assistant to join our team.

We are looking for people that are comfortable working with all foods and have worked in the catering industry previously.

Have a positive attitude, friendly personality and be able to work quickly within the catering team.

Have at least 5 year's experience working in a busy kitchen environment.

Must be able to operate and clean catering equipment.

General duties include:
Breakfast, preparing bacon, sausage and eggs for our front of house staff.

Preparing meats for roasting for our lunch service.

Preparing food items on a daily basis.

Slicing all salad items for our salad bar and main sandwich counter.

Slicing vegetables for our homemade soups.

Weighing and portioning foods for our sandwich counter.

Order and replenish stock items as needed. Keeping fridges and freezers clean, also keeping all preparation areas clean and tidy at all times throughout the shift.

End of shift:
General kitchen clean down. Washing dishes, brushing and mopping.

Hours are 7am-3pm Monday

Friday.

£11:44 per hour.

No Saturdays or Sundays.

No bank Holidays.

28 days Holidays a year ( including bank hoilday's )

Pay:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
