    Description

    About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive "sick-care" to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non‑invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient‑centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, has allowed us to lead the change against "we caught it too late again".

    Position

We are looking for MRI Radiographers to join us at our London clinic The MRI Radiographer is responsible for operating cutting‑edge MRI equipment to provide high‑quality imaging services for diagnostic and preventative purposes. This position requires technical expertise, a strong commitment to patient care, and adherence to regulatory and professional standards specific to the United Kingdom's healthcare system.

    Details

This is a permanent, on‑site position. Clinic operating hours will be based on local demand and may span Monday through Sunday, subject to change. The role is structured as a standard 40‑hour work week, with the potential for occasional weekend shifts depending on operational requirements.

This role ideally requires that you are within commuting distance of 45 minutes within the Fitzrovia district.

    What You'll Do

    • MRI Operations:
      • Perform MRI scans in accordance with clinical protocols and imaging standards.
      • Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during procedures.
      • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
    • Patient Care:
      • Educate patients about the MRI procedure, addressing any concerns or questions.
      • Monitor patients during scans to ensure their well‑being and safety.
    • Data Management:
      • Accurately capture and store imaging data, adhering to data protection and confidentiality standards.
      • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
    • Regulatory Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with UK‑specific compliance and safety standards (e.g., NHS guidelines, UK clinical safety protocols, private healthcare standards and radiation safety regulations).
      • Participate in regular equipment testing and quality assurance programs.
    • Team Collaboration:
      • Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations.
      • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on imaging advancements.

    What You'll Bring

    Education and Certification

    • Bachelor's or Diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field.
    • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) mandatory for practicing as a Diagnostic Radiographer in the UK.
    • Postgraduate certification in MRI technology (preferred but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated).
    • Practical training and compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IR(ME)R).
    • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ensuring you can respond to basic medical emergencies.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Radiographer, preferably in a diagnostic or preventative imaging setting.
    • Experience operating advanced MRI systems (experience with Phillips equipment is an advantage).
    • Familiarity with UK clinical protocols and healthcare standards, such as those followed in the NHS or private healthcare environments.

    Technical Proficiency

    • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and independently.
    • Deep understanding of imaging protocols with a focus on maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
    • Ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced clinical environment with complex systems and workflows.

    Patient Care & Communication

    • Excellent patient care skills, with a patient‑first mindset that ensures comfort, clarity, and trust throughout the imaging process.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Ability to manage patient needs in a dynamic environment, balancing efficiency with empathy.

Attention to Detail & Quality Assurance

    • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in imaging procedures and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Consistently maintains precision and quality even under time pressure or during high patient volume.
    • Committed to continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and operational workflows.

Regulatory Knowledge – UK Healthcare Standards

    • Solid understanding of UK healthcare compliance regulations, including GDPR and data protection protocols for patient information.
    • Familiarity with UK clinical accreditation and safety regulations, ensuring alignment with national standards.
    • Experience working within regulated environments and ensuring documentation and processes are audit‑ready.

    Entrepreneurial Mindset & Growth Orientation

    • Comfortable in a scaling, fast‑changing health‑tech startup environment, with a willingness to step outside of traditional roles.
    • Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and helps shape operational best practices as we establish our UK presence.
    • Demonstrates a proactive, problem‑solving approach across clinic operations—not just within the scan room.
    • Brings a growth mindset, flexibility, and ownership mentality to support continuous innovation and patient experience improvements.
