We are looking for outstanding full and part-time individuals to join our team.

. 40 hours per week. - Part-time 27.25 Hours. Hours are annualised and can be worked over four long days with a day off during the week if this meets the needs of the business.


About Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre


Bright Beginnings is an award-winning Childcare Centre based on the University of Leeds campus, and we provide high-quality childcare to students and staff members.

We are registered with Ofsted Early Years, which awarded us an 'Outstanding' grade in all aspects. We accommodate up to 168 children aged between 3 months and 5 years. We also operate a playscheme during the school holidays for children aged between 3 and 11 years.


We offer space and time for children to explore and discover the world around them by providing opportunities for children to take controlled and measured risks' At Bright Beginnings, children have the opportunity to grow within a caring, secure and stimulating environment.

Our children come from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and beliefs, and this is reflected in our respect for each individual child and how the Centre is managed.

Bright Beginnings is a wholly owned charitable subsidiary company to provide on-campus childcare facilities for its staff and students. A board of directors oversees the operation and strategic direction of Bright Beginnings.


The main purpose of the role:
To take joint responsibility with other childcare practitioners for children's welfare, learning and development at Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre.

To work as part of a team supporting all staff and to have a professional, caring approach and attitude towards children, parents and colleagues.

You will take shared responsibility for safeguarding children and responsibility for health and safety standards.

To implement policies and procedures to ensure all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework is met.
