Public Area Assistant

We have a fantastic new vacancy for Accommodation Assistant in the excellent Clayton Hotel Birmingham

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, the Public Area Assistant will execute housekeeping duties for the hotel including preparing rooms for guests and ensuring our general areas are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

To maintain excellent cleaning standards of the public and back of house areas. This includes the lobby/reception areas, stairwells, corridors, bar and restaurant areas as well as the meeting floor level.
Responsibility also for front and back entrances to hotel ensuring that they remain clean and tidy at all times.
Highlight any items or areas that need maintenance.
Be open for work in other departments.
Ensure that you report to the DM/Supervisor on your arrival for shift. Also ensure that you receive your checklist for the day.

Requirements:

Experience in housekeeping and cleaning is desired but not essential.
Customer focus.
Attention to detail.
Ambition to develop.
