As Wealth Operations Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and leading your team to fulfil their goals and deliver exceptional client service.

With proven experience in people management, you will set high performance standards and targets, working closely with your team to achieve them.

Through regular coaching, training, and feedback you will develop a confident and competent team who can positively contribute to Progeny's vision.


With your exceptional team management skills you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, assisting with the delivery of projects, providing data insights, and proposing recommendations to create efficiencies and drive team effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage client executives, conducting regular 121s, and appraisals, and assisting team members' progression and development through regular performance management, training, and coaching.
  • Management of the team: resolving team member queries, monitoring workload fluctuations, and ensuring client work is produced to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Create efficiencies through monitoring and analysing capacity and capability.
  • Ability to identify, recommend, and implement process, procedure, or system improvements for enhanced efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Hold regular team meetings to drive consistency, improve team building, share best practices, and provide business updates.
  • Liaise with other teams and team leaders to form a collaborative approach.
  • Carry out ad hoc projects/research.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Previous management experience gained within a Financial Services/IFA background with a track record of motivating people to achieve excellent business outcomes (essential).
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively leading, developing, and managing a team's performance.
  • Experience working in a clientfacing role.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry (pensions, investments, and protection), including regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various provider platforms and their transactional requirements.
  • Excellent communication, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, to influence, and drive positive change across departments.
  • Excellent prioritisation, organisation, and delegation skills, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
