Duties
The primary role will be to carry out testing of units returned for repair using documented procedures. This will involve the use of power supplies, multimeters, insulation resistance testers, computers and custom test boxes.

In addition some time will be spent on final inspection on Daco's range of hand controllers in accordance with documented procedures.

Testing would include the use of power supplies, multimeters, insulation resistance testers, computers and custom test boxes. There is also an element of mechanical measurement using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges etc.

Attributes

They should be familiar with making measurements using electronic test equipment and an understanding of electronic principles would be an advantage.

They need to be computer literate.

They should be capable of working methodically to ensure that quality is not compromised when working under time constraints.

Experience
Previous experience of testing electro-mechanical devices in either a production or inspection role would be an advantage.

Full training on testing of the hand controllers will be given.

Salary
28k -30.5k depending on experience plus profit related pay.

20 days starting + public holidays
