We are seeking a part time Lecturer in Maths (0.8FTE) to join our team at our Crewe Campus.


This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Lecturer to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience on GCSE and Functional Skills Maths resit courses.

This post is open to both experienced teachers and those aspiring to become a teacher.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and teach on a range of Maths Courses;
  • Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment;_and_
  • Keep accurate records for learners' progress in College and the workplace.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree in Maths _(or equivalent)_ in relevant discipline;
  • PGCE or commitment to work towards;
  • Proven experience of teaching Maths;
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
  • Uptodate occupational experience; _and_
  • Enhanced DBS check

Crewe Campus


As well as our modern classrooms, the Crewe Campus boasts a multi-purpose sports hall, climbing wall and fitness gym where learners keep fit and practice various sports as part of their course.

Our TV and radio studios have all the specialist equipment needed to produce and edit professional quality shows. Travel and Tourism learners get the chance to practise their skills in our mock aircraft cabin. Hospitality learners serve paying customers in our award-winning restaurant, The Academy. Other facilities include, hair, beauty and barbering salons, professional Centre Stage theatre and engineering and construction workshops.
