Project Planner - St Albans, United Kingdom - Affinity Water
Description
An excellent opportunity for a highly organised person to move into this secondment for 9-12 months to work on the PSTN retirement project within the Operational Technology team.
The role will be most suited for a well organised individual with established experience of planning and logistics. The individual must be a good communicator and able self manage time and work with others. Experience of Maximo and other company systems would be an advantage. Specific training for the task would be provided.Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, control, manage & track inventory for the project.
- Liaise with suppliers, providing necessary site information, getting regular updates on progress and agreeing times for site work.
- Planning organised site visits with internal resource ensuring most efficient routes taking into account site priority, other related work and resource availability
- Liaising with other Engineers, Project team and Control room as necessary.
- Updating records of changes and project progress.
- Proactively respond to changes in job site and flexible to work around issues.
- Work effectively with team members, share learning opportunities and provide other assistance as appropriate to others in support of their roles
Experience required
- Highly organised, excellent administration skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of Maximo
