Our client's business was born out of a desire to do things properly and differently to the rest of the security industry.

Their founders had many years of experience working for some of the biggest names in the security industry, rising high in the ranks, and experiencing first-hand, how the solutions and services offered could be so much better.

They are now seeking a skilled Technical Support Administrator to join their dynamic team. You will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and support for their CCTV and access control systems.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the smooth operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems.

What we need from you Technical Support Administrator:

  • 12 months experience in technical support or system administration, preferably with CCTV and access control systems
  • Indepth knowledge of IPbased CCTV systems, video management software, and access control systems
  • Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical individuals
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a teamoriented setting
  • Relevant certifications in CCTV and access control systems will be considered a plus

What the roles involves:

You will be providing technical support to clients, assisting them in troubleshooting CCTV and access control system issues


Other duties include:


  • Handle incoming service requests and provide timely resolutions while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Conduct system maintenance, including software updates and hardware configurations
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless integration of security systems
  • Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user manuals
  • Assist clients in system training, ensuring they have a solid understanding of the functionality and operation of their security systems
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to CCTV and access control systems

Training:


  • Training is offered within the role to be able to fully support all our customers to a high standard and on all the software we use to gain further knowledge and support abilities

Salary:
£22,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience


Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hour per week). Occasional weekends/on call may be required to meet the needs of the business.
