20 Hours | Term Time| Monday to Friday 10:30 - 14:30

Start Date: 8 April 2024 (or as soon as possible)

Starting Salary from 1 April 2024: £10, FTE £22,600)

The role:

Can you commit to feeding hungry tummies as well as hungry minds? We serve more than just a meal in our kitchens.

Smestow Academy runs a busy kitchen that caters for pupils, staff and visitors. We are seeking to appoint a part time Catering Assistant to work 10:30AM to 2:30PM.

About you:

The role is demanding and busy and will require the following key skills and experience:

Having experience of basic food preparation skills and serving food within a large catering operation;
Previous experience working with the catering/education industry;
Able to complete all physical requirements of the role e.g. standing for long periods of time;
Able to work well within a team and undertake delegated tasks from the Head Chef.
