Senior Cash and Stock Reconciliations specialist

The role is based in London, they is the opportunity of Hybrid working

Reporting to the Reconciliations Lead, you will have responsibilities for the oversight of the delivery of global operational services relating to Cash and position Reconciliation processes.

You will deputise for the Reconciliations Lead in their absence.
You will work closely with both internal partners (including, but not restricted to, Portfolio Management, Public & Private Operations) and relevant external parties (including Global Custodians and vendors)
You will work alongside a global team of dedicated professionals responsible for performing all aspects of Reconciliation processing.

You will demonstrate credibility with a proven competency and knowledge of the related operational activities, as well as drive efficiency and accuracy to reduce risk in our processes.

Responsibilities:

Work with global teams to ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of cash and position reconciliations, assisting the Reconciliation Lead in ensuring tasks are prioritized accordingly to meet daily global processing deadlines, as well as periodic booksclosure processes.
Ensure that controls and procedures are carried out to ensure that all cash and stock positions are reconciled in line with client / regulatory / standards.
Oversee processes to ensure the accurate management of breach investigation and the escalation of aged items through to resolution as appropriate
Work closely with front office and business partners to provide daily operational support relating to the Reconciliation and Cash Management functions.
Oversee the import and validation of internal and external data into the reconciliations system
Oversee the validation of internal and external data into the reconciliations system and the subsequent matching of records to identify cash and stock breaks that require further investigation.
Working with the Reconciliations Lead ensure that system matching processes are optimized to create high levels of automated matching.
Participate in business projects impacting Cash and Position Reconciliations.
Take responsibility and provide proactive communication while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Reconciliation processing
Working with the Reconciliations Lead Identify risk issues and use good judgement in communicating issues to management attention and escalating matters when warranted
Develop strong client relationships and partner with front office and IT to realize the full potential of operational workflows
Actively ensure upward and downward communication of developments and issues
