We are currently recruiting HR Officer for a Glasgow based non-profit organisation.


Client Details
The non-profit organisation you'll be working for focuses on supporting children and young people with special needs. Our client has over 150 years of experience within the field.


Description

Main duties include:

  • Effective maintenance of HR systems (adding new starts and remove leavers, maintain users on the system, maintain all staff information, create reports);
  • Provide HR support to members of the team;
  • Advise managers on HR process and procedure;
  • Minute taking at employee relations meetings whilst advising on HR policy as required;
  • Administer HR paperwork, such as starters/leavers, recruitment, contracts, letters etc;
  • Assist with recruitment including management of systems, advertising vacancies and organising interviews;
  • Progress the absence management process; reviewing absence stats & arranging absence meetings, long absence reviews and recording return to work documents, sending reminders as required;
  • Adhoc administrative tasks

Profile

  • Min. 2 years HR / Admin experience
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Awareness of employment law
  • Ability to work individually and as part of the team
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good attention to detail

Job Offer

  • 37.5 hrs per week (8am 4pm)
  • Mainly in the office but hybrid can be considered
