Responsible for ensuring an efficient operation of the hospitality, conferencing rooms and associated areas, meeting the requirements of the client, company and customers and maximising the efficiency of all resources available.

Your key responsibilities as the Deputy Head of Hospitality

  • Ensure that effective quality of services is provided to the standard of the client, customers and company
  • Ensure the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness of all fronts of house areas and equipment.
  • Conduct staff briefings and trainings on the job to include (Fine dining, silver service, wine training)
  • Full understanding of entire client journey and the ability to effectively connect all available services including catering, IT, AV support cleaning etc.
  • Liaise directly with the Catering coordinator to ensure all requirements are captured effectively.
  • Manage and coordinate events.
  • Ensure that there is a thorough understanding of all menus and wines.
  • Exceed client expectations and actively promote a client centred environment within the team.
  • Responsible for stock management and making sure the team and the contract adheres to food hygiene systems.
  • Ensure all SOPs are adhered to and continuously check and monitor performance
  • Ensure that administration is maintained to the highest standards on a consistent basis
  • Actively support the reduction of food waste systems
  • Support the performance management programmes to motivate and develop staff.

Working Pattern: 40 hours (Mon-Fri)

  • Demonstrate the ability to provide clear direction/ communication to individuals and teams, supporting and motivating the team to drive results.
  • Ensure that the recruitment, selection, and induction of the front of house team are to the standards of the company and the client.
  • Ensure that team building is effective to meet the site and company requirements by use of team meetings.
  • Ensure attendance of all relevant training and development courses for self and staff
  • Ensure that with the help of the chef the food and service is compatible and jointly project the
