Are you a passionate, dedicated and determined Team Leader/Senior Support worker looking for a fresh new challenge? Or an experienced Support Worker ready to take a step up? We are looking for someone with a strong track record of sector based experience as this role will be crucial in ensuring we can continue our goal of making a difference every day to those we support.


You will be working across two locations, (BS10&BS7) both supporting young adults with Autism and challenging behaviour, so experience in managing similar locations as well as experience with Positive Behaviour Support and/or experience of leading on strategies to support complex behaviours is essential for this role.


You should be able to demonstrate working within the framework of Positive Behaviour Support Model, recognising and responding to behavioural communication and supporting staff to provide trauma informed support to create safe, caring and inclusive environments.


Your role will involve:

  • Work alongside the Support Manager to ensure that our staff are providing excellent support to the people that we work with
  • Play a key role in day to day management of the location
  • Provide support and supervision to the support staff
  • Manage the rota and ensure that staff are fully trained
  • Provide on the job coaching, feedback, and act as a role model
  • Take part in an oncall rota to ensure that staff have access to support when it is needed
