POSITION OVERVIEW


The Operations Coordinator is a full-time position with MLA Move Language Ahead, which is the trade name for Go Languages WorldWide Ltd.

in the United Kingdom.

The position works under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and is responsible for College, University, and vendor relationships, seasonal operations personnel recruitment, operational program support including transport, and administrative clerical work for all MLA programmes in the UK and Ireland.

LOCATION

SCHEDULE


This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week with a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position are required.

Additional work hours may be required to include weekends or evenings when necessary.


TRAVEL


Travel will be required to support the needs of the programs throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland and to the head office in Italy.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE


The Operations Coordinator, UK must have a Undergraduate degree or prior experience of at least two (2) years in the juniors English as a second language field and must represent MLA Move Language Ahead values and model those values to subordinates and colleagues.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Client Relations

  • Develop and maintain relationships with College and University conference managers.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners including MLA attraction and coach suppliers.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Recruitment

  • Assist in the creation and updating of job descriptions for all UK operations employees across the company.
  • Coordinate the posting and distribution of job postings to achieve the desired pool of qualified applicants.
  • Accurately maintain all records of applicants in the MLA applicant tracking system.
  • Assist in the management of the recruitment and onboarding of all UK operations employees.
Financial

  • Coordinate the biweekly/monthly payroll of all seasonal Go Languages WorldWide Ltd. employees.
  • Assist in the contracting, booking, confirmation, and payment of excursions and transport.
  • Coordinate the receipt collection and biweekly reconciliation of all Go Languages WorldWide Ltd. employee corporate credit and/or debit cards.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of the Go Languages WorldWide Ltd. petty cash.
Training

  • Directly coordinates training for all operations positions in the UK.
  • Oversees the collection and accuracy of all necessary employment paperwork to comply with all local, state and federal laws.
  • Makes recommendations on the content for the MLA employee handbook.
Supervisory

  • Assists in the directing of staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control operations programs.
  • Liaison between UK operations department and other nonoperation related units within the company.

This job operates in a remote office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, and requires a dedicated home office space with access to high-speed internet.
