Description

The clinical Haematology team at BHRUT, based at Queen's Hospital in Romford invite applicants for a consultant post in general and transfusion haematology.

You will join a team of seven consultant haematologists and work with a formidable transfusion team with both a strong laboratory and clinical reputation, with some of the best transfusion safety and wastage records in the country.

The department serves a population of 800,000 including a growing haemoglobinopathy population and rapidly expanding red cell automated exchange programme.

There are opportunities for reporting bone marrows, teaching and supervision of medical students and trainees, and out of hours on call, according to the applicants preference.

The job attracts up to 10 PAs, but applicants preferring less than full time roles are welcomed to apply.
