At Trek Group, we have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a successful, innovative and growing specialist vehicle manufacturer in Sheffield.
The HR Advisor role is a key part of the Central Service Team.The role is predominantly front-line based with a large proportion of the work based around proactively addressing employees' issues and supporting line managers in driving performance.
The HR Advisor will cover the training, recruitment and development of staff under direction from the HR Manager. They will conduct administration where required but mainly be proactive in their approach and the implementation of the SPP.
The HR Advisor will champion professionalism, fairness and ensure that all guidance they give is relevant, up to date and reflects the values of the business.
- Be the first point of contact for employee relations issues, including performance management
- Proactively attend sites and speak to line managers and supervisors
- Responsible for the complete end to end recruitment, including preparing adverts and initial onboarding
- Supporting line managers with interviewing, conducting meetings and onetoones in order to drive a performance management culture
- Conduct exit interviews
- Support and undertake staff training, development and mentoring in line with the SPP
- Conducting Bradford Factor meetings and maintaining sick and absence records
- Supporting the HR Manager in the implementation of the Strategic People Plan
- Helping the HR Administrator with admin work as and when required
- Supporting Occupational Health in administration and reporting
- Champion internal communication between staff
- Challenge organisational culture and support change in line with the CEO's Vision
Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or Relevant Experience
