Description

Liberty Private Care are looking for an NVQ 3 qualified Carer with a minimum of 3 years care experience and 1 year supervisory or care coordinator experience, to join our management team as a Care Supervisor.

Complex care experience would be an advantage, particularly with spinal injuries or acquired brain injuries.

You will be involved with things such as completing client assessments and reviews, liaising with relatives & health professionals, doing spot checks on carers etc and generally making sure that we are providing the best quality care & service possible.

You will also cover care calls as required during your working hours or if cover is needed whilst on call.

An additional payment will be made for care calls outside of your contracted 37.5 hrs/week at £14/hr or any additional on call you may do.

Liberty Private Care provides superior care to our Private Clients in their own homes. We bridge the gap between social care & health care and are Nurse led.

This means that you have far better support and training than the norm from our Manager who is a Registered Nurse.

We provide care for a minimum of 1 hour per visit so there is time for the care staff to provide a high quality service for our clients rather than having to rush them.

On call is part of this job and is shared on a rota with another two staff members. The on call runs from 5pm - 9am Monday - Thursday and 5pm Friday - 9am Monday. You would usually be working one week in three for the on call.

About The Company

Liberty Private Care was founded by husband and wife team, Andrew and Fiona Key in 2019 when Fiona was unable to find the standard of care that she wanted for her own mother. At Liberty Private Care we provide care that bridges the gap between traditional home care and nursing by giving our carers enhanced training above the norm, including RESTORE2 so that they can take observations for their clients if there are any concerns about them.

We've also proactively worked with local and national bodies to improve care standards through innovation and training.

Andrew worked closely with organisations to help create and define the 'Six Steps End of Life Accreditation' for community care and Liberty Private Care earned this accreditation from the Countess Mountbatten Hospice in Southampton.

We are one of the top 20 home care providers.
