Overview


The role is in place to oversee and coordinate all Wrap Around Care sites to a Premier and Ofsted compliance standard with a focus on inclusion and impact.


To Implement highly professional, reliable and organised staff who are passionate about working with children and building positive relationships with all stakeholder's.


Main Co-ordinator duties include:


To oversee the Wrap around care provision across all territories in the business.

  • To ensure all settings are successfully following company policies and procedures
  • To lead a team of play workers working in each setting
  • 1st point of contact for parent queries

  • Ordinate Weekly food orders for all settings
  • Manage the Business management system for finances and outstanding payments including childcare vouchers
  • Weekly communications to parents timetables, updates, themes, planning etc
  • Weekly number report from each setting
  • Overall responsibility for Venue step and resources
  • To be available and responsible for Ofsted visits whilst supported by SLT.
  • Work alongside the company's Sales team to support growth where necessary.
  • Ensuring children are safeguarded and well looked after at all times
  • Managing the sign in and out process of children
  • Liaising with staff, Premier Education Managers, School Leadership Teams, School staff and Parents
  • Food preparation
  • Supervising children in collecting food, being seated, clearing away crockery, moving to activities, in activity area and/or playground as appropriate.
  • Help organise and lead play and art activities.
  • Establish good relationships with children; interact positively with children, encouraging cooperation and mutual support; monitor children's wellbeing and readiness for class; provide help and support to children
  • Encourage good behaviour in line with school and club policies
  • Ensure health and safety of children and staff
  • Anticipate pupils needs and makes suggestions to support them
  • To be aware of and assume the appropriate level of responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and to report any concerns in accordance with our safeguarding policies
  • Administer any first aid, record all injuries in the accident book (Level 3 qualification is preferred but training can be provided)
  • Ensure children understand action required in case of fire
  • Acknowledge and support all colleagues in a friendly and helpful way
  • Build effective working relationships with others by being open and honest
  • Acknowledge the need for team working e.g. help new starters settle into the club
  • Treat all colleagues in a courteous and helpful manner, challenging any discriminating behaviour
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required. Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to play and develop. Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to our Equal Opportunities policies

Skills and experience:


  • An uptodate and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Experience working within childcare, ideally within the wraparound care sector. This could be within a nursery, school, sport or play environment
  • You will have an indepth knowledge of Ofsted requirements
  • You will have a track record in supporting and developing a team of staff across multiple areas
  • You will be enthusiastic, passionate and driven to make a difference to children, their families and the people you meet daily
  • Be qualified in the administration of Pediatric First aid

Salary:
£16,000.00-£19,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Nailsea, Somerset: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (required)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving License (preferred)
