BAR TENDER

SUMMARY

The Bartender is responsible for preparing drinks whilst ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of service and professionalism.

The Bartender reports to the Bar Manager & Assistant Bar Manager.

Duties:

To welcome all customers in a friendly professional manner.
Taking beverage orders from customers and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail.
Peel, slice and prepare all fruit for garnishing drinks.
Keeping a well stocked bar with a good supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware and other accessories as needed.
Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations.
Prepare all drinks and cocktails to Bibis specifications.
Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake by following established procedures.
Process all customer orders & payments through the till system whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
To maintain low wastage levels through excellent stock management and rotation.
Coordinate stock deliveries and keep accurate and up to date records.
Assist with the cellar and stock storage areas, ensuring they are secure, neat and clean at all times.
Ensure all bar cleaning procedures are correctly followed to maintain high levels of hygiene.
