The Income Management Assistant is one of a team of four and will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of rental income and the management of rent arrears within their geographical patch area.


To be successful you will need:

  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills in order to deal with the public face to face or on the telephone.
  • The ability to be diplomatic, resilient and enthusiastic working to targets and strict deadlines
  • The ability to advise customers on Housing related issues.
  • A knowledge of Housing legislation.
  • The ability to keep accurate computer and paper records
  • The ability to work within a team environment using own initiative and displaying a responsible and flexible attitude


The role of the Income Management Assistant is based primarily at the Arc, Clowne but there will be a need to travel within the district and work out of one of the area-based Contact Centres as necessary.
