The service will be operated from a new aseptic unit at the NHS Wales support services hub at Imperial Park, between Cardiff and Newport.

The post is full time but part time work would be considered.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.


The post holder will:

Provide support to the Pharmacy technicians and Pharmacists by the assembly and manufacture of specific aseptically prepared items.
Responsible for monitoring aseptic service stock levels and ensuring required products are ordered. Practice to the regulatory principles set out in EU Good Manufacturing Practice, following all Standard Operating Procedures. Contribute to the overall operation of the Aseptic Unit aiding the Aseptic Service technicians.
