Description

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced fire risk trainer and assessor.

Our client is looking for a full-time trainer to join our busy team offering relevant and high-quality fire risk assessment training and qualification support, delivering a suite of other training courses within their portfolio.

You will be required to liaise with customers to understand the needs of the business and tailor course requirements appropriately.

Training will be conducted at various venues and on client sites.

Vital to this role are:

Min 5 years prior industry experience
Experience of carrying out fire risk assessments and report writing for clients
Knowledge of a range of workplace environments and their fire risk assessment duties
Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
A proactive attitude

Desirable for this role:

Teaching qualification or previous experience of training/teaching
3rd party accreditation (or willingness to work towards)
Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
IQA qualification (or willingness to work towards)
Application of fire safety standards and best practice
