Duties Planning Coordinator
Stuart Ross House, Warwick
Fixed Term Contract (24 months)
Part Time (16 hours)

The closing date for this post is 12 noon on Friday 18th August.
Those currently eligible on the redeployment register will be given prior consideration.
The main purpose of the role is to provide business and administrative support to the Duties Planning and Support team in the co-ordination, planning, resourcing and delivery of all routine and emergency policing operations, special and major no-notice large or small scale events across Warwickshire Police.
Main Responsibilities:
To provide transactional quotes to partners within Highways England for any Blue Light assistance.
To organise and update rota's for on call roles to include - Duty Superintendent, Tactical Firearms Commander, Hostage and Crisis Negotiator and Post Incident Manager rotas for Warwickshire - To manage and problem solve rota conflicts utilising duties management systems and negotiate solutions with officers and staff.
Action yearly annual leave reports such as Annual Leave carry over, Part Time Bank Holiday allowance and AAA no sickness day.
Knowledge:
5 A-C grade GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
Experience:
Experience of working in a busy administrative role.
Experience of using computer software systems.
Proven ability to work and think both as a team and independently.
Key Skills:
Competent in the use of IT including Excel
Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
Working with mínimal supervision within the parameters set for any task
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Negotiation and influencing skills
Special Conditions
Occasional requirement to change working hours at short notice and travel throughout force area.
