About us

Watson, Wild and Baker are an independent health and safety consultancy specialising in fire risk assessment, occupational hygiene and health & safety services.

Two Fire Risk Assessors are needed to join our rapidly growing company.

The primarly job role is to conduct health, safety and fire risk assessments within residential buildings, including performing fire door inspections.

The role is home-based with regular travel to client sites.

The ideal person should be a proactive with the desire to gain knowledge and develop new skills. The person should have a common-sense approach and an ability to provide pragmatic solutions.

We believe in providing employees with the training they require to fulfil their potential. No prior experience of health and safety or fire risk assessments are required. All training will be provided.


The Fire Risk Assessor

Essential

• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willing to increase knowledge and skills
• IT Literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft platforms and mobile app platforms for report writing.
• Full UK driving license.

Desirable

• Experience on conducting fire risk assessments or fire door inspections.
• Experience of making risk based decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivilant relevant work experience

£22,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
