Monday - Friday


Purpose of the role:


To provide effective administrative support to the Sales Manager and wider sales team, being widely involved in a range of sales team functions and projects.

Provide customer service support to the customer base; building relationships with customers (and colleagues) to achieve goals; delivering a great customer experience whilst balancing and supporting the administrative needs of the business.


Main role responsibilities:


Sales and Administration

  • Be responsible for the sales administration, working in conjunction with the Sales Coordinators
  • Support with the quotations process, ensuring that quotations are priced and issued in a timely manner, meeting (and managing) customer expectations
  • To accurately record and input data into relevant IT systems, ensuring compliance with any relevant legislation
  • Provide excellent customer service, account management and reports, to a range of key customer accounts as the designated contact
  • Assist customers with their enquiries, solving and taking ownership of any issues or problems as they arise
  • Support with customer followups, to improve conversion rates
  • Support with the coordination of tender packs and pricing proposals
  • Ensure compliance with SIC, EWC, WPDFs and all material offtakers is maintained and administered efficiently and effectively
  • Support the CWR and CWM (not HWRC) offtakers and update the database accordingly
  • Assist the Sales Manager, Sales Coordinators and Area Sales team with activities and projects that are aimed at maximising customer loyalty and retention
  • Attend customer meetings where appropriate
  • Produce reports on a weekly/ monthly basis as required
  • Assist with marketing activities and projects as and when required, including the monitoring of Social Media accounts

Qualifications & Experience:


Essential:
Experience in a sales or business administration-type role

Experience in a customer-service environment

General understanding of GDPR legislation

Desirable:
Customer Service or Business Administration qualification

Experience in a customer service type role

Knowledge of the Waste Management industry
