Site Manager needed for a leading highways service provider based in the wider Midlands area who are looking to employ an experienced and organised
Site Manager to oversee a dedicated site and work as part of the operational delivery team. This position will be mobile covering primarily the East Midlands but does stretch to the West Midlands.
What the role entails:
As a
Site Manageryou will be responsible for:
- Managing a £2-3 million project
- Urban junction improvements
- Oversee Projects
- Direct reports from Site Foreman & Setting Out Engineer
- Managing 1215 people in total on the projects range of people such as commercial staff, QS etc.
- Report to Construction Manager
What experience you need to be a successful Site Manager:
- Previous experience managing construction sites
- A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Use of proprietary contract and document management software would be an advantage
- Self Starter
- Work on own initiative
- Ability to manage a project from start to finish
- Management of a team and work in a team
