We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant within a leading Healthcare NHS Trust in North Shields. This is a key role within the trust and will be a temporary to permanent position.


Duties will include:

  • Working on an NHS trusts buildings
  • General maintenance
  • Checking fire doors
  • PAT Testing
  • Supporting the trades staff with any required works
  • Carrying out reactive and planned repair work
  • All materials and access provided

Essential skills / qualifications:

  • Previous experience within maintenance/trades
  • Training given on site
  • Confined Space qualification is desirable
