Sales Ledger Controller, £26,000, hybrid working
Fixed term contract till September 2023, Harrogate

Do you have a sales ledger background and credit control background? Do you like working in a fast-paced role? Would you like to work for a company within the beauty industry?
You will be a key part of their fast-paced Finance team holding key relationships with customers and ensuring that debt is kept to a minimum to maximise cash flow, minimise bad debts and provide a high standard of customer service

Key Duties:

  • Maintain customer accounts within the designated credit limit and aged debt profile
  • Posting and allocation of customer payments
  • Reconciliation of unallocated payments, resolution of all queries and disputed invoices ensuring that the ledger is correct and up to date
  • Assist with new customer onboarding
  • Uploading of sales invoices onto customer portals where necessary
  • Sending out monthly customer statements and addressing any resulting customer queries
  • Reconciliation of receivables finance bank account
  • Preparation of sales ledger input to short term cash flow forecasting
  • Other ad hoc duties as required including assisting with purchase ledger when necessary

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of sales ledger and credit control processes
  • Attention to detail and the ability to reconcile complex customer accounts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, work independently and work under pressure
  • Competent IT skills, including Excel
