Monday to Friday minimum 25 hours between 7am and 3pm

Location: 1 Marylebone, London

Shack Shuka is a food kiosk serving a variety of dishes, including shakshuka, falafel, rotisserie chicken and sides, as well as various coffees plus other hot and cold drinks.


Overview

This role description is designed to give an overview of the role of Barista and is not exclusively limited to the activities described below.

Job Purpose
To craft great coffee and other speciality beverages, ensuring high quality customer service is offered at all times.


Key responsibilities include:

• Dealing with customers in a positive friendly manner
• Creating and serving hot and cold drinks to set recipes, as well as serving food and snacks as required
• Taking orders while paying attention to details (e. preferences of coffee blend, dairy, sugar and allergies)
• Making recommendations to customers based on their preferences
• Keep the counter and prep area clean and tidy
• Maintaining stock levels of all equipment and items such a cups
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with food hygiene and H&S regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Previous work experience as a Barista
• Handson experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of hygiene and H&S regulations
• Positive outlook and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to multitask
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility
• Friendly Team Player

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour
