Salary:
Circa £34,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working pattern:

Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working such as 1-2 days onsite with remote working.

Travel to Stevenage / Bristol predominantly to work with the UK Offload Team.


The opportunity:


A great opportunity to be part of the UK Offload Team, working across all operational, commercial and administrative elements of Service Procurement.

As an integral member of the team you'll be working to shape the utilisation of Offload and enable functions to meet the resourcing challenges of the future.


This is a key time to join the team as the profile of Offload is growing across MBDA UK and increasing the delivery of strategic resourcing solutions.

This area focusses on process improvement whilst growing the supply chain to ensure consistent delivery.


Ideally you will be highly organised and have a keen eye for detail, paired with an energy and drive to identify and implement new solutions and operational processes.

Confident in working with customers and be able to build strong and positive relationships. Being comfortable dealing with uncertainty and variance in processes is also key.


On a day to day basis you'll focus on -

  • Maintenance of Offload records within the Data Management System
  • Coordination of onboarding and offboarding Offload resources, ensuring adherence to HR and Security Policies
  • Financial Administration of Offload, acting as the point of contact for financial or invoice queries from Offload Suppliers and supporting the resolution of payment issues with Bought Ledger
  • Managing the generation of project allocation data to ensure timely and correct cost recharging to project.
  • Facilitating the opening of Offload vacancies and supporting the approval process.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Comfortable with uncertainty and an ability to balance being adaptable and also directive in order to move things forward with limited information or undefined timescales
  • Analytical problem solving skills with a passion for finding process development and continuous improvement
  • Able to persuade whilst being sensitive to other's concerns and considerations
  • Proven communication skills including sideways and upwards influencing of peers and managers
  • A selfstarter able to manage time and deliver with commitment in line with toplevel direction
  • Experience or understanding of commercial or procurement activities such as finance processes, resourcing challenges and a level of PMO / project management would be desirable
  • Diplomacy when dealing with difficult situations and customers
