We are recruiting two experienced social workers for roles in our Early Help Service at Wirral Children's Services.

The role will include working alongside our early help colleagues to work with children and families and prevent where possible level 4escalation.

The role will require you to have experience and knowledge of thresholds in relation to risk and be able to confidently offer advice and guidance in regard to children and families who may be at risk of significant harm.

The role requires at least2 years experience in statutory children's social work including assessment, children in need, child protection and some knowledge in regard to children looked after would be desirable.

The hours of work will be 36 hours per week and the initial post is fora period of 3 months and this will be reviewed at 3 month intervals to ensure the provision of the service is effective.
