WHAT DOES A WAREHOUSE FLT OPERATOR DO?- To operate a forkLift truck in a safe and proper manner
- Receipt and handle dry materials to production line & cased goods from line
- Compliant (EHS/ HMRC, systems) management of stock movements and controls throughout the site.
- Support the 6s methodology that is in place within Bacardi UK Operations
- Processing of transactions related to the receipt and movements of dry and cased goods
Responsibilities:
- WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
- Daily pre-shift checks are fully completed prior to the use of allocated forklift truck
- Ensure rigorous adherence to JDSL/Bacardi documented Quality standards
- Ensure that all FLT Operations are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and guidelines
- HMRC regulations adhered to relating to receipt and movement of excisable cased goods
- Ensure that all Cased Goods movements procedures are strictly adhered to (scanning and documentation)
- Ensure that all Dry Goods procedures are strictly adhered to (inventory checks, scanning and documentation)
- Transfer of Cased Goods received from production to warehouse or marshalling
- Transfer from warehouse to production lines
- Line feed pallets of glass onto production depalletisers
- Line feed of other dry materials
- Receipt and issue of empty pallets and slip sheets to production lines
- All movements of Dry and Cased goods processed in SAP (scanning)
- Reporting and recording of any damages to Dry or Cased Goods reported immediately
- Support annual stock count
- THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
- Work Experience Requirements:
- Experience of working within a FMCG environment
- Full & Current FLT Counterbalance Driving License
- Ability to use all FLT attachments i.e. clamp, pushpull, Double Handler
- IT literate and familiar with ERP materials systems and stock management.
