Following the successful relaunch of the Clifton Arms Hotel, Lytham, we are looking for talented, motivated & passionate individuals to join the team.

Working within the new kitchen you will be a key team member ensuring the kitchen areas are maintained to a high standard.

Main objective:

Under guidance of kitchen management, maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure kitchen brigade has a clean and tidy environment in which to work in.
Monthly and weekly cleaning rotas are to be adhered to.
Drainage and refuse areas are to be given special attention on a daily basis.
Ensure all cleaning materials should be stored appropriately when not being used.
Ensure that all opening, closing, pre and post service checklists/ routines are adhered to, to ensure an efficient and hygienic operation.
Communicate with Executive Chef and Head Chef re personal development i.e. appraisals, training, long term objectives.

General Responsibilities

To be a valued member of the Clifton Arms team, helping and advising colleagues where required, promoting the image of the restaurant, and that of the company, at all times through active sales activity and a positive approach.
To be aware of the security of the hotel and the people in it. Be familiar with all emergency procedures and act positively both in the event of an emergency and to prevent one.
To be aware of and ensure that those responsible to you are aware of all legislation that is relevant to your work and ensure that all legal requirements are met including: Licensing; Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions and any others.
