We're hiring for support workers at our Children's and Young Person's Short Breaks service in Clevedon

We are seeking support workers for our Short breaks service in Clevedon, where we support children and young people aged between 14 and 25 for overnight stays to develop independence skills as part of our pathways to adulthood service.

We're looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life

As a children and young adult support worker, you'll be flexible to support across the week including pick up and drop off at school/college, as well as weekends, support after school and in the school holidays.

You will work on a 1-1 basis to develop andwork towards individualised outcomes, these may be based around manging money, socialising, cooking, cleaning, everyone's pathway will be different and you will be a key part in preparing them for adulthood.

Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned for the people we support such as swimming, bowling, sports lessons and the cinema to name a few.

The support you provide will be centred around each person's values, preferences and needs. You will also need to support with personal care and medication needs.
