What you will be responsible for:
This is a flexible role covering all areas of office administration to help support the Team. The work means you will gain a much broader and deeper understanding of how to support a modern business.


Typical Daily Activities Include

  • Timely and efficient management of incoming and outgoing post
  • Providing worldclass customer service when answering incoming phone calls and greeting visitors to the office
  • Arrange a welcome gift and create a welcome pack for all new clients
  • Ensuring the meeting room is set up for internal and external meeting rooms
  • Ensuring the office is stocked with everyday essentials from beverages to stationary
  • Supporting the Operations Director with planning and arranging repairs and updates to the office
  • Arranging and managing internal meeting appointments and providing timely summary recaps
  • Supporting in setting up and arranging the quarterly development days
  • Planning and arranging socials
  • Arranging team gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and ad hoc celebrations
  • Researching and booking travel and accommodation for the team when required
  • Managing team training for the annual AML, Cyber Security and Xero training courses
  • Creation and circulation of key sales reports required by the heads of departments
  • Supporting the Client Co-Ordinator to cover tasks during periods of annual leave
  • Supporting the Operations Director with administration relating to the HR system
  • Creating and scheduling new client feedback surveys ad sharing the feedback once received
  • Compiling the data used for our quarterly charity contributions, making the donation and sharing a summary with the team
  • Supporting the Operations Director with onboarding new team members by taking ownership of all the admin and technical setup
  • Supporting the Operations Director with offboarding team members by taking ownership of all the admin and technology that needs to be addressed
  • Liaising with marketing to communicate team updates for the website and company structure images
  • Supporting the Operations Director with the management of software accounts
  • Supporting the Operations Director with recruitment administration and arranging interviews
  • Supporting the Operations Director with the administration of the Company Insurance and Health policies

Skills

  • You are accurate and detailoriented, great at finishing detailed jobs
  • You can take responsibility and make decisions, great at organising your own work schedule with little or no guidance
  • Advanced IT skills
  • You have great customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

This Exciting Opportunity Will Suit You If

  • Accountancy Practice experience desirable but not essential
  • A minimum of 3 years of administration experience
  • Confident with using technology
  • Have a positive 'can do' mindset.
  • Are curious and eager to continually learn and develop new skills.
  • Revel in building relationships and communicating to create the best working partnership
  • A strong multitasker with excellent selforganisational skills and great attention to detail
  • Able to remain resilient when faced with challenging situations
  • Are able to adapt to changes in systems, technology and process

Monday to Friday

9am - 5:30pm (Flexible)

£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
