LEVEL 1- PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

Job Title:
Level 1 Production Associate


Reporting To:
Production Team Leader


Overall, Purpose


To ensure the highest level of quality at each stage of the production process to ensure the timely delivery of high specification assembled parts.

You will be involved in each stage of the production process from moulding, inspection and packing to final assembly.


Work closely with the Production Shift Manager, Shift Quality Engineer, Assembly Team Leader and Production Planning to ensure parts are moulded and assembled to the correct quality standard, within standard times and in accordance with the production schedule to meet customer demand.


Principal Responsibilities:


  • Inspect and pack product at the moulding stage, conducting 100% product inspection to ensure exacting quality standards are maintained.
  • Conduct product inspection post external value add activities to ensure zero defects are passed through to the next process.
  • Responsible for the final assembly of intricate assemblies to exacting quality standards.
  • Maintain quality records to evidence quality standards are followed.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and champion 5S activities in the area.
  • Participate in and actively promote the company's CIP (continuous improvement program) looking for ways to continually improve the way we work and to reduce waste.
  • Any other reasonable request from a senior member of staff.

Salary:
£11.00-£11.63 per hour
