In a Nutshell


At Nectar360, not only are we busy running and developing the best loyalty programme and getting to know our customers better than anyone else, we are working collaboratively with Sainsbury's FMCG suppliers to create physical, omni-channel campaigns to meet their brand and business objectives.

Utilising the plethora of first party data we have, we work with brands to create targeted and inspirational content for our client's objectives which generates interest, awareness and/or sales for their products and brand.

This role is responsible for working across a range of Sainsbury's FMCG clients.


What you need to do

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the N360 business, communications, insights capabilities and Sainsbury's in order to confidently manage / own client relationships where appropriate.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the Clients businesses in order to develop and present communication and insights proposals.
  • Responsible for interpreting Client's brief and implementing this through the appropriate campaign tool.
  • Provide daily support to line manager and broader team.
  • To foster insight led communications, manage and develop strong, productive relationships:
  • with agreed Client base
- across the N360 team, particularly with retail consultancy and the delivery team; customer insights, planning, media operations & analytics
- across the various cross functions throughout Nectar360 and Sainsbury's e.g., Nectar Partnerships team, Digital team, Intelligent Research and Sainsbury's Trading Teams

  • Manage relevant activity for your client base and deliver against agreed budget and timelines, working with key contacts.
  • Utilise appropriate processes and document templates to ensure that all parties are briefed correctly to facilitate efficient project management.
  • Work alongside Planning Lead, Data Planners and Analysts to deliver strategic, tactical and integrated campaigns with support of line manager. Ensuring delivery against agreed timings.
  • Ensure Base (Finance management) is regularly and accurately managed with the status of both pipeline and confirmed activities.
  • Close the loop: Ensure timely delivery of results to clients, reporting against the individual requirements of the brief.
  • Proactively provide managers with regular (min. weekly) updates on the status of all projects and communicate problems as appropriate.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends and competitive threats, leveraging opportunities where appropriate

What you need to know

  • University degree (marketing major desired); or equivalent business experience
  • Relevant previous clientrelated marketing experience, ideally in retail or FMCG
  • Experience in direct, instore and digital marketing practices as well as media evaluation (desired)
  • Excellent project management/communication/presentation skills, well organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage suppliers at peer level
  • Selfmotivated with an understanding of analytics and the creative development process
  • Experience of financial management
  • High energy, proactive and a team player with a 'can do' attitude
