Job Description:

Our Head of Legal is looking for an experienced and dedicated Legal Administrator to join their hardworking team.


Purpose of Position
As a Legal Administrator your overall responsibility is to provide assistance to the DPD in
- house Legal Department.

Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

  • Assisting with the drafting of a variety of legal documents, with guidance including general correspondence.
  • Liaison with other departments in order to redirect queries and post to the correct teams to progress matters internally which do not require legal input.
  • Arranging meetings and events and producing supporting documents including slides for presentations and minutes/attendance notes.
  • Carrying out due diligence on receipt of work requests and raising queries as necessary.
  • Following up with relevant departments to ensure return of documents within set timeframes.
  • Assisting with setting up new systems, team folders and template documents.
  • Filing and scheduling of documents.
  • Entering contract expiry dates and setting up timely reminders of these dates in the relevant calendars.
  • Assisting with diary management for members of the Legal team.
  • Carrying out legal research as requested by the legal team and other ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • IT skills including Office and Google workspace experience
  • Strong admin skills including attention to detail/proofreading ability, good typing skills and excellent organisational skills
  • Legal admin experience
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Time management and prioritising skills
