Morgan McKinley have been engaged on an exciting project partnering with a leading global brand in Bristol. With infrastructure changes, this firm are currently recruiting for a Financial Control Manager 12-month Fixed Term Contract. As this is an interimpost, you will need to be immediately available to apply.

This role is looking for someone to take full ownership of the accounting and financial reporting of their division


Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage with stakeholders across all business departments to discuss budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage full end to end monthly processes such as balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss accounting.
  • React accordingly to mission critical finances such as contract renewals and business partnering.
  • Ensure that each product line has rigorous weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting.
  • Provide correct finance information to nonfinance and wider commercial teams in a cohesive and comprehensive way.
  • Present immediate flash figures and monthly results when necessary.
  • Analyse key changes in figures and give good insight to wider teams.
  • Work closely with transactional and other financial teams to reconcile P&L figures and variances.
  • Support all team members on an adhoc basis.
