Greater London Hire is a leading Private Hire company dedicated to providing exceptional services to our valued customers.

We take pride in our well-maintained fleet of vehicles, and we are looking for a highly skilled and responsible Fleet Administrator to join our fleet team.


Location:

Bounds Green, London

As a Fleet Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our vehicle fleet.

You will be responsible for overseeing vehicle usage, coordinating appointments, and ensuring vehicles are signed out to drivers safely and efficiently as well as data entry.

Additionally, you will take on driving duties, transporting vehicles to and from appointments and assisting with any ad hoc driving needs.


What's on offer:


  • Working hours 8:30 17:30
  • 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Annual salary: £27,000
  • Holiday pay 28 days per year including Bank Holidays

Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Efficiently manage the scheduling and coordination of vehicle appointments.
  • Sign out vehicles to drivers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Regularly inspect vehicles, reporting any issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as fuelling and cleaning.
  • Safely and responsibly operate a variety of company vehicles, adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address any fleetrelated inquiries or concerns from drivers or management.
  • Administrative tasks including inputting invoices.
  • Have a valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in fleet administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with drivers and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle unforeseen challenges.
