CNC Operations:
- Set up and design files using VCarve Vectric CAM software.
- Program, set, and operate CNC machines to create parts and components according to specifications.
- Ensure all files and materials are prepped for CNC operations.
- Oversee routine maintenance and uphold safety standards for all CNC machinery.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
Warehouse Collaboration:
- Cutting plastic sheets on sliding panel table saws.
- Assist warehouse staff in loading and unloading stock, picking and packing orders.
- Coordinate with the team to streamline production processes and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee the upkeep of warehouse machinery, equipment, and air compression systems.
Printing Operations:
- Set up and design files using Eidos Easycode Program and Roland Versaworks 6 multiformat RIP software.
- Set up and operate printing machines, including thermal and vinyl printers.
- Ensure accuracy and quality through the printing process.
- Maintain and ensure safety protocols are followed for all printing equipment.
Delivery and Logistics:
- Collect stock and securely deliver orders using a 7.5tonne longwheelbase van, adhering to scheduled timelines while maintaining product integrity throughout the journey.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in a woodworking or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes; experience with manual lathes is a plus.
- Capable of setting up and operating various printing machines.
- Strong mathematical proficiency and the ability to perform accurate calculations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 7.5tonne longwheelbase van.
- Capable of working independently, you will be adept at using your initiative to navigate challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proven track record of maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.
- Proficient in time management and capable of proactive initiative during slower periods.
